Learning Walk - Social Walk
Communication and orientation among conspecifics
Service Description
# Social Walk One of the main goals of the Social Walk is for your dog to learn that the presence of other dogs does not automatically mean excitement or interaction. Together, we work on expectations and arousal management in everyday situations. We practise relevant real life situations under controlled conditions. This structured environment also allows us to work on skills such as recall in the presence of other dogs. A central focus is your dog's orientation towards you. Your dog learns not to react to every stimulus immediately and to use you as a point of reference in challenging situations. We walk in a small group of no more than six teams. Throughout the walk, short training exercises and practical tasks are incorporated and adapted to the individual dogs and situations. ## Social Walk Information Duration: 90 minutes Location: Innsbruck (exact meeting point will be provided after registration) ## Requirements Participation is open to existing clients or to dogs and handlers who have completed an initial consultation. In these cases, wearing a well fitted muzzle is required. ## Organisational Information Participation is only confirmed after payment has been received.
